BarefootChef is a Boston native currently living in Manhattan who enjoys spending his time traveling around the world in search of experiencing new cultures and cuisines. He has made a name for himself by working in both the food and technology industries, and has been lucky enough to combine his two passions in many of his professional experiences. It was with his national job with OpenTable, the world’s largest online reservation company, that he discovered his love for travel. Prior to working as a professional in the restaurant industry, BarefootChef grew up surrounded by food, as his family owned several gourmet grocery stores and restaurants in the Boston area. Needless to say, he has continued his family's success through his own passions. Through this blog, he documents his worldwide food excursions, and also his own personal recipes and creations to share with others so that they can experience it alongside with him.
